1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the godetailing.ca website and any mobile car detailing services provided by Go Detailing Auto Spa ("Go Detailing", "we", "us"). By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our service
Go Detailing provides mobile car detailing — including but not limited to interior steam cleaning, exterior wash, stain and salt removal, paint decontamination, and protective coatings — at the address you provide. We arrive in a self-contained, fully-equipped branded van.
3. Booking and cancellations
- No deposit required to book. You pay only after the service is complete and approved.
- Bookings are confirmed by email or SMS the night before your appointment.
- You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a $50 short-notice fee at our discretion.
- If our team is unable to safely access your vehicle or location upon arrival, a $50 travel fee applies.
- We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including unsafe conditions, biohazards, or vehicles that require services beyond our scope.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices shown on the website (Maintenance $79, Bronze $149, Silver $209, Platinum $289) are for sedans. SUVs, pickups, and minivans are priced higher — exact pricing is shown in the booking flow.
- Properties outside our standard Ottawa zone may incur a small postal-code-based travel fee, shown upfront.
- Payment is due on-site, upon completion. We accept debit, credit card, and Interac e-Transfer.
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). HST is included.
5. Site access and water/power
Our van is self-contained — we bring our own water, power, and 340°F steam equipment. You do not need to plug us in or supply a hose. We do require:
- Reasonable access to your vehicle (driveway, condo visitor parking, office lot, or garage).
- Working space of approximately one parking spot beside the vehicle.
- Your authorization to be on the property where the vehicle is parked. If you do not own the property, please confirm with property management before booking.
6. Quality guarantee and limitations
We back our work with a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with any part of the detail upon completion, you may inspect the work and we will re-do or correct the issue on-site at no extra charge. If we cannot satisfy you on-site, you do not pay.
Our guarantee does not cover:
- Pre-existing damage (paint chips, scratches, dents, cracked trim, torn upholstery).
- Stains, odours, or contaminants that cannot be removed without damaging the underlying material.
- Mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic issues unrelated to detailing.
- Results from coatings (ceramic, sealant) applied at the customer's request against our recommendation.
7. Liability
Go Detailing Auto Spa is family-owned and carries $2 million in commercial liability insurance. We exercise reasonable care during every service. In the rare event of damage caused directly by our work, please notify us within 48 hours so we can document and address the issue through our insurance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Weather and seasonal service
Mobile detailing depends on weather. Heavy rain, freezing temperatures, or unsafe wind conditions may cause us to reschedule — at no charge to you. Some services (such as full exterior decontamination and ceramic application) are paused during Ottawa's coldest winter months. We will let you know in advance if your booking is affected.
9. Customer conduct
We expect respectful behaviour and a safe working environment for our two-person teams. We reserve the right to stop a service and leave (without refund of work already completed) in the event of abusive language, threats, intoxication, or unsafe conditions.
10. Photos and intellectual property
We may take before/after photos of your vehicle for quality control and internal training. We will only use photos publicly (social media, website) with your explicit consent. All website content — text, photos, logos, branded design — is owned by Go Detailing Auto Spa and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Ontario.
